1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using QuickInstaller, including our website, web service, client desktop application, and any other related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
2. Changes to Terms
Dev Ihlen-Abelson reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Services after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
3. Registration and Accounts
To use certain features of the Services, you may need to register for an account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
4. Use of the Services
- You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms.
- You agree not to use the Services in any way that is harmful, illegal, or misleading.
- Any unauthorized use of the Services is strictly prohibited.
5. Optional Diagnostic Reports
Rich desktop diagnostic intake is currently disabled. If optional diagnostic sharing is offered after its privacy, legal, security, processor, transfer, authorization, retention, and deployment requirements are complete, it will start off and require a fresh, separately presented, versioned choice in the installer or application. Installer consent will be unchecked, unavailable to silent installation, and separate from license acceptance. Accepting these Terms or the End-User License Agreement, or continuing to use the Services, does not enable diagnostic sharing. The current Privacy Policy describes the guarded design and withdrawal process. Diagnostic consent does not authorize an external AI provider to train or improve its models and gives no autonomous system authority to merge, release, deploy, or write to production.
6. Optional Usage Analytics
Production usage analytics is currently disabled. If offered after its legal, privacy, DPIA, processor, transfer, infrastructure, validation, and release requirements are complete, it will start off and require a fresh, separately presented, versioned choice in the application. It remains independent of diagnostic sharing. Accepting these Terms or the End-User License Agreement, or continuing to use the Services, does not enable it. The current Privacy Policy describes the limited active-installation fields, transient country derivation, retention, and withdrawal design.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and trademarks related to the Services are the property of Dev Ihlen-Abelson or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services, which cannot be sublicensed or sold.
8. Termination
Dev Ihlen-Abelson reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Dev Ihlen-Abelson and its affiliates, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Services.
10. Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dev Ihlen-Abelson, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any claims, losses, or damages, including legal fees, resulting from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Services, or your placement of any content or material on the Services.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Drammen, Norway.
